1 .Koyla Shakti

 is the name of the Smart Coal Analytics Dashboard (SCAD), a major digital initiative launched by the Ministry of Coal, Government of India.


This platform is designed to serve as a unified digital interface for the real-time monitoring and analysis of the entire coal sector's operations, spanning from the mine all the way to the market.


Its primary objective is to significantly enhance transparency, operational efficiency, and coordination by integrating diverse data sources related to coal production, demand, logistics, and dispatch.


By centralizing this information, Koyla Shakti facilitates data-driven decision-making, helps optimize the supply chain, and ensures better accountability among all stakeholders, aligning with the broader 'Digital India' vision for governance.


2 .Index of Industrial Production (IIP):

The Ministry of Statistics & Programme Implementation reports that India’s Index of Industrial Production (IIP) grew by 4.0 % year-on-year in September 2025, matching the growth rate posted in August.


Manufacturing led the advance with 4.8 % growth, while mining contracted slightly by 0.4 % and electricity increased by 3.1 %.


Within manufacturing, strong gains were seen in basic metals (+12.3 %) and electrical equipment (+28.7 %).


Use-based data show infrastructure/construction goods (+10.5 %) and consumer durables (+10.2 %) as top contributors, while consumer non-durables fell by 2.9 %.


3 .The International Solar Alliance (ISA) Assembly 

(General Studies-III (250 marks)Technology, Economic Development, Biodiversity, Environment, Security, and Disaster Management)

serves as the highest decision-making body for the International Solar Alliance, which is a key intergovernmental organization promoting solar energy globally.


It convenes representatives, including ministers and policymakers, from its 125+ member and signatory nations to determine the ISA's strategic direction, review its progress toward unlocking massive investments in solar energy, and set the collective agenda for accelerating the worldwide adoption of solar power.


The Assembly's discussions focus on critical issues like securing solar finance, enabling technology transfer, and ensuring that the shift to solar energy is inclusive and equitable a pathway to empowerment and job creation that aligns with the vision of "One Sun, One World, One Grid."
