  1. :The Antarctic Peninsula:, a rugged mountainous region extending from the western coast of Antarctica, is experiencing some of the most significant temperature increases on Earth. A recent study has revealed unprecedented ecological shifts in response to this warming climate, with temperatures rising by as much as 3 degrees Celsius.

ree

British Antarctic Survey scientists Dominic Hodson and Jessica Royles conducted research on Elephant Island, part of the South Shetland Islands, to investigate these changes.

They used core sampling equipment to examine moss banks, which provide valuable insights into the region's environmental history.

By analyzing the moss cores, the researchers were able to reconstruct the region's climate and ecological conditions over hundreds of years. Their findings confirmed the rapid warming trend and its profound impact on the local ecosystem.

2. The Association of Southeast Asian Nations, or ASEAN, was established on 8 August 1967 in Bangkok, Thailand, with the signing of the ASEAN Declaration (Bangkok Declaration) by
