1 .Adi Vaani
General Studies Paper-II (250 Marks) – Governance, Constitution, Polity, Social Justice and International Relations
is a new initiative by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs in India, serving as the nation's first AI-powered translator for tribal languages.
This project aims to preserve and promote India's rich linguistic diversity, specifically focusing on endangered tribal languages. By bridging communication gaps, it ensures that government schemes, health advisories, and other vital services reach tribal communities in their native tongues.

The platform leverages advanced AI models like "No Language Left Behind (NLLB)" and "IndicTrans2" to provide real-time translation between Hindi/English and various tribal languages.
It also includes features such as text-to-text, speech-to-text, and speech-to-text translation, as well as an Optical Character Recognition (OCR) tool to digitize tribal manuscripts and oral traditions.
The name "Adi Vaani" itself is meaningful; "Adi" is Sanskrit for "first" or "original," while "Vaani" means "speech" or "voice," aptly describing the project's goal of preserving the foundational languages and voices of India's tribal communities.
2 .India and Saudi Arabia's defence cooperation
General Studies Paper-II (250 Marks) – Governance, Constitution, Polity, Social Justice and International Relations
has seen significant developments in 2025, with a clear focus on moving from a traditional buyer-seller relationship to a more collaborative and strategic partnership.
This momentum is a result of high-level diplomatic and military engagements throughout the year, including the establishment of a Ministerial Committee on Defence Cooperation under the India-Saudi Strategic Partnership Council. This committee provides a high-level, institutional framework to guide defence collaboration.

The 7th meeting of the Joint Committee on Defence Cooperation (JCDC) in New Delhi was a crucial platform to advance this dialogue, with both sides exploring new avenues of collaboration.
Discussions focused on expanding cooperation in areas such as joint manufacturing, training and capacity building for Saudi armed forces, and strengthening maritime security through military exchanges.
These developments build upon a foundation of growing defence ties, including joint exercises like "Al Mohed Al Hindi" and "Ex-SADA TANSEEQ-I," and are strategically significant for both nations.
For India, this partnership enhances its security footprint in the West Asian region, while for Saudi Arabia, it offers a way to diversify its defence partnerships and achieve its industrial localization goals.
3 .Interpol,
(General Studies-III (250 marks)Technology, Economic Development, Biodiversity, Environment, Security, and Disaster Management)
or the International Criminal Police Organization, is the world's largest international police organization, serving as a global network for law enforcement cooperation rather than a traditional police force with arresting powers.
Its mission is to facilitate worldwide police collaboration to combat international crime, particularly in areas like terrorism, cybercrime, and organized crime.
Interpol achieves this by connecting its 196 member countries through a secure communications system and a vast network of databases, allowing national police forces to share critical information on crimes and criminals.

A key function is the issuance of various "Notices" (most famously the Red Notice) which are international alerts for cooperation, such as locating and provisionally arresting a wanted person for extradition.
Each member country has a National Central Bureau (NCB) that acts as the primary liaison with Interpol, ensuring that action is taken within the limits of existing national laws.
By providing this platform for information exchange, technical expertise, and operational support, Interpol plays a crucial and unique role in a world where crime increasingly transcends borders, even enabling cooperation between nations that lack diplomatic relations
